I’m nothing if not eclectic. It’s the way I’ve always run my life. A little of this a little of that. Paint my toenails and go buy power tools. You mean not everyone is wired this way? Huh, their loss. Perhaps the reason I am good at my job is I know a little about a lot of things, which allows me to keep the conversation going on most subjects. So on June 3rd between 1-5pm I will be indulging in one of my weirder interests. BEHOLD:

That’s right, I’m going to go on the guided tour and listen to a dissertation by a periodical cicada expert. I’m going to dress up like a cicada at the Cicadamobile and I may even do some arts and crafts. To top it all off I might even purchase some cicada related merchandise at the gift shop and I’ll definitely watch The return of the 17 Year Cicadas about the 2004 cicada brood emergence in Ohio.

Oh yes, I will be going to the 2007 Cicada Mania Festival. So go ahead, mock me if you must. But if you want to come you know where to find me. I love me some bugs.
