So did I ever tell you I play the guitar? No? Well thats cause I don't. I do however play video games, which in my abet bias opinion is much preferable. Especially when Red Octane released Guitar Hero. So in a round-about way i actually do play guitar. Aside from thinking the game is freakin' awesome, I didn't really consider it having any ramefications on my everyday life. that is until this afternoon...

So I'm driving in the car listening to Madison radio and Gun's and Roses comes on the radio. I blame Guitar Hero for my sudden acceptance and even *gasp* appreciation for classic rock. Singing along with Axel Rose has never been a pastime of mine. Until today. Yesterday I played "Freebird" by Lynard Skynard, today I'm singing along with "Sweet Child of Mine" and heck tomorrow who knows, perhaps I'll get some face paint and dress up like KISS. Don't get me wrong, I'm still solidly an alternative girl. But when 80's hair metal comes on the radio now I don't always change the channel. Then again, maybe that's worse.
